Breast Cancer is a serious threat to women everywhere and in order to raise awareness about this terrible disease, October has been declared Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to BreastCancer.org, in 2010, an estimated 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S. and about 39,840 women in the U.S. are expected to die this year. But, there are more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. right now. These survivors are our source of hope and it is only a matter of time before we find a cure.
Qi is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month by having a "Pinktober Day." We invite you to wear pink to show your support for this important cause.
