Gingerbread House For St. Jude's

AOL teamed up with In Record Time, Economy Candy, and Stylelist to construct a 6-foot gingerbread house for the children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. AOL is shipping the house to the hospital for its annual holiday party, along with 250 gingerbread house kits so that the children can construct their own edible versions.

Hoping to make the childrens' holidays a little brighter, they crafted this "happy home to make happy people" and this generous gift is sure to make the winter wonderland even more magical for the children.

Here at Qi we feel strongly about giving back to others. We combine our love of style with our passion for helping others by supporting non-profit organizations like the Wildlife Federation and the Advocates For Children of New York. We want to remind everyone to do something special for those in need this holiday season because compassion and aid are the best gifts you can give.

So, this season, what will you vow to do for someone else? You can donate money, buy gifts, volunteer for charities, or dress up as Santa's Helper and give away presents to those in need. Wear seasonal colors and celebrate the holidays with some cheer and charity.

Work It Out With Bobbi Brown

PC: [Jennifer Graylock/jpistudios.com]

Makeup artist Bobbi Brown is opening up a new gym with her husband and personal trainer--Steven Plofker and Mark Cohen, respectively. It is set to open up in her hometown of Montclair, New Jersey and will offer an assortment of fitness classes. Yoga, dance classes, and forza--a Samurai-inspired work out that resembles fencing--will all be offered at the new gym.

The name of the gym is 3Sixty--derived from the idea that this gym is a 360 degree turn from traditional gyms. It is designed to make working out fun so that members are motivated to go, instead of dreading the session.

Classes are offered on a per class basis and prices range from $13.50 to $18 per session. No memberships are involved because it goes against the ideology of the gym.

"We don't want to tie people down with fees and make them come out of obligation. It's all part of our philosophy -- we want them to want to be here," adds Cohen.

If you're looking to avoid the dreaded holiday weight gain, Bobbi Brown's new gym seems like a fun alternative to the elliptical. Plus, you're bound to snag a few of Bobbi Brown's beauty products in the gym locker room!

The crowd that will flock to this gym are sure to look their best and you'll want to look fashionably fit. We've put together a stylish but practical outfit:

[Qi's Jane Smith Zip Up]

[Qi's Sleep Angel Tank] --on sale!

[Under Armour]

[Qi's Tomb Raider Pants]

[Reebok EasyTone Sneakers]

There are other comfortable and chic options that can take you from the gym to the grocery store at QiCashmereShop.com.

Cashmere For A Cause 2010

Qi would like to extend a gracious thanks to all those who attended the Cashmere For A Cause event. After a lot of planning, we were glad to have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with all of our supporters. It was a wonderful night of shopping, socializing, and philanthropy. Qi New York was happy to be able to make a contribution to Advocates For Children of New York, a non-profit organization devoted to providing the best education for all students. Thanks again to everyone who came out to support us and this great cause and we hope that you enjoy your purchases!
