Hey, it's Gossip Girl here.

We just got the juiciest tip on a trend that is sweeping Constance Billiard and taking the Upper East Side! Fashionistas, do you know which contemporary knitwear company that creates sexy and modern looks was seen on Queen B last season? It's Qi, of course!

Always the trendsetter, Blair wore Qi's Newsie Scarf and it didn't take long before Little J was spotted on the Constance steps in the Qi Mesh Flower Skirt.

Gossip Girl hears that Qi has sent over one of the top picks from the Fall 2010 collection:
The 100% lambskin leather Catwoman Skirt is both tough and chic with its industrial details, such as the three buckles and zip-up back.

Brangelina On Film

Brad and Angelina may be in a relationship, but will they soon be co-stars? Apparently not, according to the interview Angelina Jolie recently gave to Vanity Fair. When asked if there was a possibility for a Mr. and Mrs. Smith sequel, the box-office success that supposedly sparked Brangelina's romance, Angelina replied:

"We did ask somebody to look into Mr. & Mrs. [Smith] to see if they could crack a sequel, but there wasn't anything original,” she said. “It was just, 'Well, they're going to get married, or they've got kids, or they get separated.' Never great.”

Well if a great storyline does come up, Qi has got just the pants for Angelina to wear while she kicks butt as an assassin. Our Jubilee Pants are edgy and add a bit of toughness with their zip-close pockets and sleek fit. From Lara Croft to Mrs. Smith, these chic pants have got Angelina's name written all over them.

Taxing News

Terrible news for all of the fashionistas with a love for all things luxe. Governor Patterson is in the midst of considering reinstating the NY sales tax. If he decides to pass this, then come fall, New York will revoke the current tax exemption on clothing, and all clothing and shoes that cost upwards of $110 will be taxed. By April 2011, all clothing and shoes that cost under $55 will be exempt and by 2012 the tax exemption will be put back in place.

Governor Patterson declares,"There's a sales tax on clothing, which I don't think is a particularly good idea, but it is a revenue source."
What do you think? Is this the best way to raise revenue?
