Blossom Into Fall

PC: [Just Jared]

Actress, Brittany Snow, recently helped launch MTV's Love Is Louder campaign to end teenage bullying.

"I've had experiences in middle school and high school with a bully," said the 24-year-old "Hairspray" star. "And I feel like when I was going through it, I was thinking, 'Well maybe if I could help someone later on then this will make it all worth it.' And individually, I think everyone should remember that. Your struggles will help others and you can get through it. You are not alone in this. There are so many people going through the same thing or have been through it, and it's really important to reach out and just know that you are stronger than any voice that brings you down."

Watch the video here:

Brittany's choice to come out about her difficult past, from her struggle with an eating disorder to coping with the suicide of her close friend, takes courage, while her decision to start Love Is Louder shows her goodwill.

Recently Snow looked cute and chic as she attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic party in Los Angeles. She showed up wearing a strapless floral dress--despite it being October!

She also reveals that her fall fashion obsessions are sweaters.

She says, "In fall it's always sweaters. I am always out hunting for sweaters...because after summer and wearing almost nothing, it's kind of nice to get cozied up in a great sweater."

Sequins For Daytime

As the holidays approach, there are more and more reasons to celebrate...and more and more reasons to dress up!

This season, pick a trend that commands attention, like sequins! They are a fun and flirty look and can be worn during the day or at night.

You don't need an excuse to dress up and look great, which is why sequins have recently become a daytime look. It's not a hard trend to pull off if you know what to do.

Sequins make a statement on their own, so for daytime it is important to let the sequins be the center of attention. Tone the look down with denim or casual leggings and flats. Refrain from wearing big jewelry--instead stick to classic pieces.

Here models Chanel Iman and Masha Novoselova show how mixing sequins with casual knitwear create the perfect day look:

Get the Look

As the weather gets colder, you may be tempted to choose practical clothing over chic apparel. Luckily, Qi offers our customers the best of both worlds. We've designed our clothes to be warm and cozy, without ever sacrificing style and quality.

This fall--when you feel like dressing casual--try an oversized sweater. Recently, Jessica Alba showed off her flair for fashion as she ran errands in trendy jeggings, a slouchy hat, and a V-neck sweater.

You can emulate Jessica's laid-back style by creating a similar look using our Avatar Tunic and Mirage Hat:

There's no reason you can't keep warm but dress cool!

A Pop of Color

Have you seen the new video released by Willow Smith, the nine year-old daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith? The video has gone viral and become an instantaneous hit. The debut track, "Whip My Hair," has attracted attention for its crazy dance moves and abundance of color. Willow rocks an inventive hairstyle-- one where her locks are shaped into a heart on top of her head, along with a fuschia mohawk. Quite the trendsetter, Willow also appears with bedazzled lips and nails. Not one to let her hair and make up outshine her attire, Willow wears brightly colored, structured clothing with studded epaulets.

Take a look at the video that has everyone intrigued:

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

The best-selling, award-winning novel, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, is making its way to the big screen in 2011. The book, written by Swedish author and journalist, Stieg Larsson, has been adapted into a film already in Switzerland, but David Fincher's Hollywood adaptation is set to come out in December 2011.

PC: [PopCrunch]

The much-anticipated film caused a stir as eager actors and actresses competed for the highly coveted roles of journalist, Mikael Blomkvist and researcher, Lisbeth Salander. It was rumored that George Clooney, Johnny Depp, and Brad Pitt all expressed interest in the role of Blomkvist, but in the end, Daniel Craig got the lead. Ellen Page, Sarah Snook, and Katie Jarvis were contending for the role of Lisbeth, but it was officially confirmed that Rooney Mara would be playing Lisbeth Salander in August.

Qi is so excited for the movie to be released and even more excited that the wardrobe department has requested two of our pieces from Fall 2010 for Rooney Mara's character.

They requested our knit S.H.I.E.L.D. Jacket: Available HERE.

Chanel S/S 2011

Chanel unveiled its latest collection during Paris Fashion Week and blew the audience away. Inspired by the 1961 French film, Last Year at Marienbad, Karl Lagerfeld put on an elaborate show of over 80 models, including Lagerfeld's muse, Inès de la Fressange. The collection featured deconstructed tweed pieces, floral prints, and dresses with ornate trim that you can envision wearing to the Palace of Versaille.

Among the cut-outs, fringe, and lace, the detail that stood out the most were the lofty feathers that decorated a multitude of pieces. Calling the feathers a "response to the fake fur used in the previous season," Karl made the feathers feel glamourous and avant-garde. The clothes were charming and elegant and came in a wide variety of styles, from the cascading black feathers to vibrant ostrich feathers shown in apricot and pale blue, ensuring the viewer could never get bored.

Take a look at the collection:
