Shopping in Florence

Hey everyone! It is Lauren, an intern here at Qi, and while I am studying abroad in Italy I wanted to share a few fashion treasures that I've found here.

Patrizia Pepe is a boutique in Florence, Italy that catches my eye on daily basis with its interesting store windows and beautiful clothing. The company was founded in Florence in 1993 and is surely influenced by Italian style. The minimalism of the clothes make them really wearable on a day to day basis.

I saw many similarities in the Fall/Winter collection with Qi's own Fall 2010 line. Both collections featured military-inspired clothing, with structured silhouettes and brass buttons.

In addition, Patrizia Pepe and Qi both offered puffer jackets and knit capes to keep warm in style.

Finally, there were some similarities in the way the two brands use leather. Patrizia Pepe offered a number of leather jackets and leather blazers, while Qi has been using leather in skirts.

Take a look at Patrizia Pepe's most recent ad campaign--it is quite clever!
