Trend Watch: Feathers Still Soaring

Even though it may not feel like it, spring is here! And while the flowers are waiting to bloom, the feather trend is still in full plume.

WWD recently covered the feather trend on the fall 2011 runways. Fluffy feathers were used in inventive ways at the fashion shows of Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Jason Wu, and more. Whether they were fully covering dresses, layered on bodices or used as details on skirts, feathers flew down the runway.
